November 2017
Grand Opening

Vine & Olive Eatery and Wine Bar opened in Riverstone in November 2017 and since has been serving as an unrivaled destination for great food, thoughtful wine and a dynamic social scene for Coeur d’Alene. The “industrial chic” space features a wine bar serving a diverse selection of wines by the glass, wine fights, 8 local taps as well as an assortment of small plates, charcuteries and pastas created by Executive Chef CJ  Lopp-Fox. Our wine club is 220 members strong, and we bring in 40 cases of wine each month just for the wine of the month club. It's a fun way to explore new wines each month without the guesswork and comes with your own private bin in the wine club room at V&O.

Locally Owned

V & O is owned and operated by Naomi Boutz, a North Idaho native who has spent almost 20 years working the restaurant scene in Coeur ‘d’Alene. Naomi finally took the leap of faith into ownership when the fear of not trying outweighed the fear of failure.  Naomi is passionate about food and wine and could not imagine doing anything other than hospitality. She currently serves on the Executive Board at the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber, is a 2020 Leadership CDA grad, member of Coeur d'Alene Rotary club in which she recently began serving on the Coeur d'Alene Rotary Foundation Board. In addition to Naomi's civic involvement, Vine & Olive has raised more than $150,000 for local nonprofits through sponsorships and live auction items.

Opening a second restaurant during the Pandemic was challenging, which is an understatement. But that's precisely what Restaurateur Naomi Boutz did. Naomi opened Vicino Pizza in October 2020 as a way to diversify. It was not a project for the faint at heart. The first few years were challenging because of the labor shortage and supply chain issues. But with Naomi's passion for hospitality and desire to continue contributing to the food scene here in North Idaho, plus a hefty dose of stubbornness, quitting was not an option. Vicino means near or nearby in Italian and is right around the corner from Vine & Olive. It's a Neapolitan-style pizzeria with an all-Italian wine list and makes the BEST gluten-free pizza crust you will ever have.
